Call for discourse & information for date #4
Date #4 takes us into the classroom of an inclusive secondary school: here, teachers are called learning facilitators, there are no grades, but "certificates" at the end of each week. The ethnographic protocol invites theoretical reconstructions of how performance assessments are set up and carried out in inclusive teaching, and how actors negotiate (self-)assessments. The date encourages engagement with, for instance, the following questions: what inclusion and exclusion practices can be reconstructed at the subject, didactic, spatial, and social levels? What peer practices can be identified? Methodologically, the protocol also raises questions about ethnographic observational practices and field reactivity in inclusive settings. We look forward to your essays and a lively discourse on date #4.
